Solid

class Solid

Entry point for the Android Solid Services client SDK.

Third-party apps use this class to obtain the SDK clients:

All clients are singletons per application process and communicate with the host app, Solid Share, via AIDL bound services. The host owns the accounts and the tokens; your app receives results and never handles a credential.

Prerequisites: Solid Share must be installed (isHostInstalled; offer hostInstallIntent when it is not) and the user must have granted your app access to an account through AuthorizeWithSolid before calling resource, module, sharing or notification operations.

Typical setup

val authorize = registerForActivityResult(AuthorizeWithSolid()) { result -> ... }
authorize.launch(Unit)
